This next EIGHT-TRACKS single is by the San Francisco duo of Andrew Phelan & Origami who have previously had 12" releases on Drop Music and their own Prismatic Tracks label..
The track "Beyond The Line" is an emotive deep house number featuring wistful vocals and a super-tough bassline. The rhythms are quite intriguing, bridging house and broken beat styles for a track that works in multiple settings. Christian Malloni (of Candy Dealers) delivers two deep and driving mixes that really flesh out the song in two totally different directions. Orlando's own Latenight Society finish things off with a crafty dub, using elements from the original sparingly yet effectively.
